GENERAL PURPOSE:
The position supervises oil and gas well facility construction and repair operations and provides daily oversight of contractors that perform construction, maintenance and repair of: flow lines, gathering lines, tanks, pumping units, well heads, electrical infrastructure and facilities, roads, well locations/pads etc.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Supervise construction of the tank batteries and associated pipelines. This would include ordering materials and managing schedules as well as documenting and reporting daily spend
Provide oversight on repairs on existing facilities including: leak repairs, upgrades, etc. These assignments would be requested by Production Foremen.
Provide oversight and input on any compressor moves or changes
Actively participate in monthly safety meetings and lead two meetings per year
Provide relief for the other foreman as needed
Responsible for office shop and yard and maintaining internal inventory of assigned facilities
Responsible for managing NORM Program if rolled to the field level
Oversee pipeline maintenance including implementing cathodic protection on new system and/or other internally operated systems
Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and has decision making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with SM facilities
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
High School Diploma required; B.S. or Associates degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of Oil and Gas experience and 7 years of supervisory experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Broad understanding of oil and gas operations
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, plan work and establish priorities
Excellent project and people management skills
