We are seeking an experienced CONSTRUCTION MANAGER for projects throughout PENNSYLVANIA .

Responsibilities

Train and support team members on existing and new construction processes and procedures.

Prepare daily/weekly reports detailing project activities, risks & possible mitigation strategies, schedule and budget.
Meet with construction sub-contractors and customers to establish timelines and construction budget information.
Assisting project management team with selection of optimal fiber routes with the goal of reducing capital requirements for builds.
Manage outside plant construction including ensuring that all work complies with customer standards for workmanship and general quality.
Manage the selection of material vendors with a focus on meeting the requirements of the customer.
Consistently research ways to reduce customer expenses through "value add" construction practices, alternate methods, optimization of resources, scheduling, etc.
Train and support team members on existing and new construction processes and procedures.
Insure that all customer OSP construction specifications and standards are met consistently.
Prepare daily/weekly reports detailing project activities, risks & possible mitigation strategies, schedule and budget.
Ensure that all customer project construction requirements are met on-time and within budget.

Requirements

A minimum of 10 years experience in the telecommunications industry with significant project construction experience.
Must be familiar with all types of outside plant construction and experience managing the scope, schedule and budget associated with large capital projects from a construction perspective.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel is required. Applicant will be responsible for serving a broad geographical area and must be able to travel as required to serve the job function.
Ability to thrive in a high paced, high energy environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with all personnel, vendors and/or customers.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to promote teamwork by motivating, coaching and guiding others.
Valid Driver’s License
