Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Corporate Facilities Senior Construction Manager, assist in the coordination, supervision, and management of assigned construction projects. This includes the planning, design, and construction of all projects, as assigned, relating to budget, schedule, contractor acquisition, value engineering, and safety. Ensure projects comply with all regulatory and industry standards. Assume responsibility for on-site coordination and management of small preservation projects. Assist with on-site coordination of contractors and materials for larger projects as assigned. Assist Senior Construction Manager in providing support to Center City Corporate Engineering Services and other Hazelden Minnesota locations as appropriate. Work within the parameters of the master plan as it relates to the Hazelden strategic plan. Assist the Senior Construction Manager in delivering services related to capital projects. Project Engineer would be responsible for maintaining and regularly updating company building floor plans in electronic form for use with Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system. Manage and update the data and information in AutoCad and load into the CAFM program.

Qualifications:
Minimum/Essential Qualifications
  • Associates degree in Construction Management or equivalent
  • Three years experience in the commercial construction industry
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vocational or technical training
  • BA degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience
  • Software knowledge: MS Office, Adobe and MS Project
  • FM Systems experience
  • Hospital construction experience
