The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the overall direction and completion of open store remodels for a major retail chain. This position will require a significant amount of travel within the state of Florida and throughout the United States.

Essential Duties

Direct and manage multiple project sites at once from beginning to end.

Strong retail project management experience with open store remodels

Manage every aspect of the development process including consultants, general contractors, vendors, budgets, internal departments and developers.

Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.

Plan and schedule project timelines

Set and continually manage project expectations with team members

Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions

Oversee all due diligence functions.

Manage each phase of the project including entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, store start up, store turnover, and project close out.

Cost estimating

Proposal preparation

Budget development, forecasting and management

Strong emphasis with web based project management

Education and Experience

B.S. or B.A. degree and 3 to 5 years retail project management experience, with an emphasis on open store remodels. Degree in Construction, Architecture or Engineering preferred but not required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Position Requirements

Travel is variable up to a maximum of 75%
Must be able to work from a remote location
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with QPM employees and customers.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and IOS software systems.
