Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Quality Assurance Laboratory Manager for the Elko office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and supervising, laboratory and field testing including Quality Assurance Management, aggregate testing, soils testing, concrete testing, quality control compaction, and quality assurance monitoring. Key responsibilities will include: Schedule field and lab activities to meet client and project needs, manage staffing of field and lab, communicate with clients, prepare proposals for testing services, perform QC on lab test results, utilize standardized templates for data, train/coach lab and field staff to become proficient in proper procedures, oversee lab accreditation, perform duties of Radiation Safety Officer and nuclear licensing compliance, promote a high performance attitude in staff, oriented to customer service, high quality work and good productivity.

Job Requirements:
This position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong technical/practical background, excellent interpersonal/communication skills, and a solid work ethic. Construction related management skills, soils/aggregate laboratory experience are required. Ability to supervise staff. Knowledge of AASHTO standards (AMRL and CCRL) and understanding/use of ASTM standards required. American Concrete Institute (ACI) and NAQTC certifications a plus.
