RESPONSIBILITIES: a. Develop "Survey of Existing Conditions" before construction work is performed. b. Monitor General Contractor's "Quality Control Program". c. Attend project meetings, take meeting minutes, and distribute meeting minutes to all individuals attending the meeting. d. Inspect construction work to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with all requirements identified in the contract documents and forward inspection reports to Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). e. Monitor the Contractor's shop drawing submissions and approvals. f. Create daily logs that identify what work the Contractor performed. The daily logs shall identify problems that are encountered, materials that delivered to jobsite, and other significant items. The daily logs will be submitted to CO and COR on a weekly basis as part of the weekly narrative report (item i. below). g. Keep on site a set of marked-up contract (as-built) drawings and specifications that are kept current, noting all change or deviations from original contract requirements. h. Enforce GSA safety requirements. i. Submit weekly narrative report on job progress together with a list of all pending matters such as pending Change Orders and their status, pending approval of samples, meetings, delays, claims and other matters awaiting the disposition by the CO, COR or CIS. j. Review Contractor payment invoices for acceptability and forward review comments to CO or COR. k. Develop Request for Proposals (RFP) and cost estimates when requested by the CO or COR. l. Process Request for Information (RFI) that is submitted by the Contractor, CO or COR. m. Assist in any commissioning services required. n. Coordinate Contractor's construction work with the GSA Property Manager so all contract work is performed in manner that does not disrupt building operations. o. Inspect construction work during the daytime and nighttime as required to ensure that the Contractor's work operations are performed in accordance with the contract documents. p. Participate in construction and contract closeout, including creating and administering the punch list. Assist COR in determining substantial completion and track any outstanding items required to closeout the project. q. Perform other duties as assigned by the CO or COR
Required: Experience with exterior and facade renovation work Proximity to Ogdensburg, NY Please provide updated resume showing your demonstrated federal work experience including dollar amounts. Typical work includes: tracking and updating CPM schedules, RFIs, submittals, advice on technical matters, payment analysis, review of ongoing work at the site, and meetings and project coordination with the contractor, customer, and building tenants. Federal work experience providing agency construction management services 4 year degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management 7-10 years of post graduation experience in construction management. OSHA safety training preferred
