Under general supervision, assists skilled craft workers in performing their assigned

Provide a wide range of skilled/semi‐skilled labor support duties, which
Dig and spread dirt in order to level earth to fine grade
Measure distances from grade stakes, drive stakes and stretch
Signal operator of construction equipment to facilitate
alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform
to grade specifications
Drive off‐road haul trucks
Assist in cell dismantling and plant break down of chemical
Decontaminate hazardous materials
Erect and strip various types of concrete formwork
Place/vibrate and patch concrete
Cut, position, join, align and seal sections of pipe
Mop, brush, or spread paints or bituminous compounds over
surfaces for protection
Grind, sand, or polish surfaces, such as marble, terrazzo, or wood
Grease, fuel, and clean heavy equipment
Stock construction materials
Clean tools, equipment, materials and jobsite
Perform additional duties as assigned
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: Minimum 1 year remediation/construction site experience; On‐the‐job training required; OSHA required certifications; May require valid driver’s license; Mechanical aptitude, including power
tool use and repair; Ability to follow specific directions to perform a variety of duties that may change often; Work within standards of accuracy; Evaluate information using measurable standards
