Job Location: Weslaco, TX
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by: Taking personal responsibility for safety in the working environment and promoting safety among your peers, subordinates, and supervisors Digging and spreading dirt in order to level earth to fine grade specifications Dismantling plant piping and equipment Erecting and striping various types of concrete formwork Placing, vibrating, and patching concrete Cutting, joining, wrapping, and sealing sections of pipe Installing drywall painting walls Lubricating machinery Greasing, fueling, and cleaning heavy equipment Stocking construction materials Decontaminating hazardous materials Cleaning tools, equipment, materials and jobsite Performing additional duties as assigned.
A successful CDM Smith candidate will have: High school diploma or its equivalent (preferred) On-the-job training OSHA-required certifications. Prior construction site experience (preferred). The ability to follow specific directions, and to perform a variety of duties that may often change The ability to work within standards of accuracy and evaluate information using measurable standards.
Equipment Used: Manual and power hand tools, pipe fabricating machinery, fork lift, heavy equipment.
