**POSITION SUMMARY: **

As a consultant to the Estée Lauder’s Corporate Strategy, New Business Development and Transformation Initiatives team, individual will be responsible for supporting New Business Development global initiatives including mergers & acquisitions (M&A;), license agreements and joint ventures. Overall, the role will require you to manage projects, develop presentations that articulate findings and recommendations, and build strong relationships across The Estée Lauder Companies. Individual will participate in strategic and financial analyses and help to develop actionable recommendations.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: **

  • Support development of strategic perspectives on new market opportunities, including sizing and assessing categories, identifying targets and understanding market dynamics
  • Assist due diligence processes, including coordination across ELC functional, regional and brand teams
  • Evaluate strategic fit of potential targets in view of ELC’s existing portfolio and corporate strategy
  • Support development of detailed business plans
  • Support post-acquisition integration and transition processes
  • Participate in monthly Investment and Development Committee (“IDC”) meetings, including with the Chairman, CEO and CFO
  • Develop a deep understanding of the target landscape and competitive environment
  • Maintain profiles of potential targets
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy and Transformation Initiatives teams as needed
## Qualifications

  • MBA from a top-tier business school and minimum 5 years work experience with at least one year in investment banking (industry coverage or M&A;)
  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including modeling capabilities
  • Ability to structure quantitative analyses (i.e., Excel models) and PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate with senior management
  • Ability to work on multiple work streams independently and thrive in a project-based environment
  • Strong interpersonal and written, oral, and presentation-based communication skills
  • Ability to understand financial analysis and perform valuation analyses (e.g., comps, precedents, DCF)
  • Experience working on a completed M&A; transaction is a plus
  • Experience working in strategy / management consulting or corporate strategy role is a plus
  • Consumer industry experience is not required
