        HOK is seeking a qualified individual to join the Consulting Group in our Houston office. We are looking for a highly proactive candidate with strong written and oral communication skills and industry experience who values collaboration, sustainability, integrity and our clients' ultimate satisfaction with the services we provide. Position Summary: As a Consultant, this individual will work as part of a team to provide hands-on leadership for projects focused primarily on workplace strategies and research, benchmarking, facility programming, and change management. This person will build and maintain effective relationships with clients and prospects to generate new business opportunities. General Responsibilities: Write client reports and deliverables clearly and comprehensively. Distill complex information to the essential elements needed for client decision making; draw conclusions and record them concisely. Summarize project and client requirements, compile benchmarking data, and produce planning guides. Participate and lead components of business development and marketing efforts, including interviews and proposal writing. Analyze data gathered through surveys and other diagnostic tools. Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) at an advanced level. Use Autodesk products (AutoCAD and Revit) at intermediate level. Use Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoShop) at an intermediate level. Provide quality control review of documents produced by the team. Qualifications Work Experience 3 to 7 years of experience working in the field of Architecture, Interior Design, Planning, Corporate Real Estate, or Consulting. Previous experience should include roles in determining a Program of Requirements, Change Management activities, or other client-focused pre-design consulting activity. The candidate should have a working knowledge of and ability to research trends regarding strategic workplace planning, space utilization, and change management. Education: Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Planning, or Facility Management. LEED®AP or Green Associate required otherwise must obtain within 12 months of hire.
