The Consumer Lending Administrator is principally responsible for assisting with the disbursal of loans and the gathering of required documentation for loans finalized through the Consumer Lending Department. This position will also serve as a teammate, point of contact, and facilitator on loans generated by the Consumer Lending Advisors to ensure a superior member experience for consumer loans and 2 nd mortgages.
Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Disburse all loans finalized by the Internal and External Loan Advisors.
Facilitate and disburse any designated Life Style lending accounts on a timely basis
Ensure that all needed documentation is included in loan packets and ready for audit
Support department goals for lending dollars and payment protection/GAP/MRC.
Actively monitor and respond to items that have been routed to the administrator.
Assist 2 nd mortgage processing with document follow up and status updates with members.
Perform all loan requests accurately develop a lending relationship between the member and the Credit Union
Be responsive to member needs and keep supervisor notified of concerns or issues in a timely manner.
Utilize resources to attain an understanding of current Credit Union policies and procedures.
Ensure all member contact and disclosures are done in compliance with applicable federal / state regulations.
Handle all member inquires with professionalism and courtesy.
Provide extraordinary member service at all times.
Have an advanced working knowledge of FORUM"s products, services, and systems.
Abide by dress code policy as outlined in Employee Handbook.
Work effectively as a team member, participating actively and constructively. Display a professional manner in dealing with supervisors, coworkers, members, and others inside and outside the credit union.
Maintain regular and acceptable attendance and follow credit union rules governing attendance.
Be available and willing to work such hours per day or per week as the credit union determines is necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
Be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the credit union determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
Be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as the credit union determines is necessary or desirable to meet business needs.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
High School diploma / or equivalent work experience in Banking/Finance
Knowledge of consumer lending products
High level of customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong Business acumen

Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office software)
