Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) has an immediate need to add Consumer Relations Reps to our Scottsdale, AZ team.
Our consumers are the reason we’re all here. Our Consumer Relations team has the critical role of communicating directly with our end consumers and is entrusted with the responsibility of providing sales and outstanding customer service support via all available media. An average day includes fielding inquiries (regarding product specifications, product performance, product application, product pricing and product availability), supplying historical information for all FMIC brands, and evaluating and troubleshooting possible product performance issues. The team answers questions, performs research, and recommends and sells solutions, all with a patient, diplomatic and friendly attitude and demeanor.
Additional responsibilities include:
Inputting sales orders into SAP
Tracking orders and shipments in SAP and online through all carriers
Researching internal systems for reconciliation and handling account adjustments
Guiding consumers to Authorized Fender Warranty Service Centers when necessary
Coordinate with consumers, dealers, authorized service centers and our Factory Repair Department to resolve customer service and product performance issues/disputes involving defective and damaged products
Maintaining a call issues and resolutions records database and refer consumers to a myriad of non-FMIC resources to assist with their product, aftermarket parts or informational needs

- High School Diploma, college courses preferred
- 3+ years musical instrument retail sales and/or customer service experience
- Extensive guitar and electronic product parts knowledge a plus
- Strong working knowledge of all FMIC product lines a plus
- Ability to communicate through phone and email descriptively and effectively
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- SAP knowledge a huge plus
- Ability to problem-solve and work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- True team player with a passion for music!
