Development Counsellors International (DCI), the leader in marketing places, is seeking a content marketing and social media specialist to work in our New York City office.

We’re looking for a strong candidate who has a keen passion for places, interest in tourism and wants to work on amazing travel destinations.

The person will work with DCI Tourism’s digital marketing manager on research, content creation and implementation of client (B to C) and agency (B to B) projects on various digital mediums.

Requirements

2-3 years of marketing experience for the tourism industry.

Strong project management skills.

Strong working knowledge of social media universe including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, WordPress, and other social platforms.

Experience using Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and/ or other related social media monitoring applications.

Working knowledge of Facebook Insights, Facebook Ad Manager and Google Analytics.

Experience creating Facebook applications with applications development programs.

Experience consulting with companies looking to build a digital social presence on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

Ability to create custom newsletters for company and various clients using Constant Contact.

Excellent computer skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Windows)

Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures without extensive training.

Ability to quickly pivot and assume different writing styles and voices according to defined needs.

Have an overall passion for places.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.

Salary: $45,000-$50,000 (plus bonuses), based on experience
