The Content Marketing Specialist develops written content, videos, presentations and illustrations for the company’s web sites, social media, channel marketing applications and marketing collateral.
Principal requirements for this position are excellent persuasive writing and speaking skills, and reasonable fluency with presentation graphics and video editing software. Knowledge of QVI products and markets is highly desirable, but not required.
Create and maintain technical copy, articles and case studies on the corporate and division web sites in sync with current branding, products, sales collateral and programs, and consistent with best practices for business to business web site marketing.
Ensure that content follows the integrated marketing approach consistent with the branding and style guides for the division and with corporate design guidelines and standards.
Create, maintain and manage content for the channel partner applications .
Write, produce, and edit short promotional and product capability videos for general marketing use.
Write, produce, and edit customer application videos for specific customers at the request of the sales divisions.
Write and produce e-newsletters for channel partners and end use customers.
Create and maintain appropriate content for Social Media marketing campaigns as required.
Coordinate QVI North American Trade Shows – including submitting space applications and booth selections, show layouts, ordering services, and coordinating trade show properties and set-up plans with the on-site person in charge for each show.
B.S. Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business, or equivalent experience in industrial product marketing.
Experience in business to business e-marketing communications preferred.
Experience in International Sales and Channel Marketing preferred.
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven, multi-disciplined, multi-client environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Hands-on familiarity with web site development, web authoring and management software a plus.
Foreign language skills a plus.
Familiarity with Corel and Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools, and desktop publishing software required.
