If you are a friendly, outgoing Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a Texas licensure; and with excellent communication skills (English: written and verbal communications), VNA is interested in you.
$ 21/hour (based on knowledge, skills, ability & experience)
*Nights and weekends required.

VNA has a great opportunity for Continuous Care LVN's. Continuous Care LVN's contribute provide hospice continuous patient care according to the plan of care and prescribed doctor's orders. They contribute to the assessment of needs of assigned hospice patients and family members, perform treatments such as dressing changes, irrigations, catheterizations, etc. LVN's will also be responsible for reporting changes in condition and other pertinent information to the Hospice RN care coordinator or on call nurse.
Other functions include, observing and measuring vital signs, evaluating patient response to symptom control measures and administering personal care and hygienic measures to clients.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas.
This position requires one year in an acute care setting required. Previous home care or hospice experience desired. A qualified candidate must be able to accept supervision and instruction, communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
