Bachelor’s degree required
Three plus years of supervisory experience or equivalent
Experience in continuous improvement process including lean sigma is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Strong communication and facilitation/presentation skills
Results oriented with a strong customer focus
Demonstrated ability in building relationships, leading and influencing others
Must be able to construct a vision, think creatively to solve issues and be goal oriented
Strong attention to detail is required
Strong computer skills are required (Lotus Notes, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
Must be able to multi task and handle several priorities at one time
Ability to travel up to 50% (during initial training and development period, could be up to 75%)

Job Description:
Overview
Bunge has a challenging opportunity available for a Continuous Improvement Leader to help drive our organization to achieve substantial cost and efficiency improvements. As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading the use of Lean Sigma, kaizens and other continuous improvement tools within the business and operation environments and in alignment with the BNA Productivity effort. This position is critical to Bunge North America’s achievement of significant targeted productivity gains. The successful candidate will obtain multi-business and multi-site/plant exposure.

Essential Functions
Lead cross-functional critical business and operation projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement techniques in order to identify and eliminate waste throughout BNA
Assist business functions and plants in mapping their work process and identifying opportunities for improvement
Plan, schedule, conduct kaizen and sustain (rapid improvement) events at targeted opportunities
Work with senior management to ensure projects are aligned with business strategy
Work with financial controllers to ensure project savings are identified, tracked and captured
Ensure events are completed, sustained and tracked
Document project deliverables, track status, and maintain event files
Present event status and results to management on a regular basis
Provide leadership in transferring Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement knowledge to key areas of the business
Ensure that 6S, visual management techniques, best practice sharing and other continuous improvement tools are consistently implemented
Coach other employees in daily improvement opportunities
Coach and mentor employees in the application of the continuous improvement methodology
Continually develop knowledge of process improvement philosophies and applications
Support the various continuous improvement initiatives throughout Bunge
Coordinate resources across multiple projects
Coordinate and maintain continuous improvement administrative needs
Be a safety leader
