Summary: The Contract & Business Analyst is responsible for contract management from beginning to end of process. This is to include; meeting with business account managers, pricing new opportunities, contract review, feedback, and tracking of opportunities for budget and forecast purposes. Contracts that will be managed financially through this role include, but are not limited to Rebates, Service Revenue Opportunities, Hospital PCPN, Retail PCPN, 340B and PAP.


Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; or two years to four years of business and financial analysis experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support evaluation of new and existing business opportunities through scenario modeling and financial analysis
  • Assist with proposal development for business opportunities
  • Provide input for budget/forecast revenue and cost projections
  • Provide input for profitability projections and pricing strategy
  • Provide project support and analysis to program managers
  • Independently develop new Excel models, charts and graphs, and procedures as necessary
  • Manage Master Contracts Catalog maintenance
  • Review new Pharma Contracts for pricing and invoicing requirement
  • Coordinate deliverables with Business Owner and IT
  • Identify and report quality risks related to contract reporting
  • Ensure that related information is obtained, documented in detail, tracked and available for access and quality review
  • Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory. Ability to work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations, and proofs of theorems.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products and project management systems.
