This position is the primary contact for customers, Textron manufacturers (Cessna Aircraft and Bell Helicopter), attorneys and internal personnel responsible for providing documentation and loan/lease closing support as well as post loan/lease closing support for all aspects of aircraft financing transactions. The position supports an assigned region that may include United States domestic transactions as well as international transactions.
Position Requirements and Responsibilities:
Strong Planning and organizational skills related to logistical oversight of all aspects of customer closings. Provide direct support to the sales function on closing aircraft finance transactions. This includes extensive preparation – origination through termination - of lease and loan documents, coordinating proper document execution, arranging escrow closings, coordinating between the in-house counsel, manufacturer and customer to finalize all details of the closing, communicating funding requirements to customers and in-house accounting, and completing the account setup and activation on the internal receivables system.
Constant awareness of customer relationship building.
Extensive interaction with Cessna Finance Corporation’s (CFC) legal, accounting, credit origination and loan services functions to gather and provide transaction/customer specific information.
Consistent and overriding attention to detail in all work products.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task and deliver positive results for CFC and its customers.
Above average accounting and analytical skills for developing lease/loan documents.
Inherent interest in learning from and working with both international and domestic customers.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Develop business solutions for customer requests while complying with CFC policies and procedures.
Manage stressful and time sensitive situations in support of the closing of transactions.
Possess superior problem solving/analytical skills and demonstrate a proactive approach to solving problems.
Fluent English and Spanish language skills are essential to this position. Additional language(s) considered an asset.
Bachelor's degree required.
Business or Finance degree preferred.
PC Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Previous experience in equipment finance, contract administration or account management a plus.
