Responsible for administering and analyzing contracts with national group purchasing organizations, regional buying groups, medical surgical distribution companies, integrated health systems, and individual facilities in the public sectors of the domestic market. Thoroughly understands and applies good contract management principles. Strong analytical skills are required for position.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for reviewing and approving pricing requests by applying appropriate business judgment in compliance with Zimmer Policies.
Within assigned territories manage contracts from the RFP stage to contract initiation, contract maintenance, and reporting.
Prepare sales history, ASP, and impact analysis for assigned national group purchasing organizations, regional buying groups, integrated health systems, and individual contracts.
Review and approve final commitment documents and follow through with the field offices, group purchasing organizations, and regional buying groups to ensure commitment levels are accurate, approved by the appropriate people, and assigned to the proper pricing level.
Provide training within the assigned distributor’s office which will enable the field organization to optimize price & sales potential.
Maintain master proposal and contract files to support the audit process and document contract compliance.
Maintain product line technical expertise.
Ability to interact with Customers, Distributors, and internal management on all levels.

Bachelor Degree in business or related field required with 3 to 5 years of business related experience.
