The Contracts Administrator will assist the Contracts team with various functions as assigned. He/she will enter and maintain contract files in the system as well as manage paper files. Preparing, reviewing and executing the administrative specifications for contracts and new or existing agreements are responsibilities in this role. As a part of the Contracts team, coordinating the review of contractual specifications for consistency and for compliance with federal and state requirements when applicable are a part of the day to day tasks. The Contract Administrator will also assist with resolving minor contractual issues in support of the contracts managers, including interpreting contract language and negotiating contract changes when appropriate.
Minimum 3 years of experience in both government and commercial contracts
Excellent level of proficiency in MS Excel
Hands on experience with MS Office Suite
Working knowledge of contracting concepts, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Current experience working in a government/commercial contracts environment
Experience with full MS Office Suite
Ability to hit the ground running with little to no learning curve
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills in managing time across multiple tasks
Capable of working in a team environment or independently and managing changing work priorities
