Summary:

The Contracts Coordinator position is responsible for drafting of contracts and facilitating in the negotiation of contracted terms and conditions by using pre-approved templates and documents to create various contracts. This position is responsible for maintaining the contract database and all associated files. Duties include assisting with contract development, administration, tracking, analysis, as well as managing various deadlines and time constraints. Experience in contract development and standard rules and regulations pertaining to contract drafting a plus. Work as coordinator between all levels of management to ensure contract completion and deadline objectives.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for the successful development, execution and maintenance of contracts

-Helps in drafting and preparing contracts by using pre-approved templates and documents as well as oversee to signature completion

-Acts as liaison between clients and underwriters to ensure negotiated terms are finalized and appropriately clarified in the contract

-Maintains database and filed signed contracts and have the ability to run reports of varying requests with ease and short turn around

-Provides leadership for the contracts administration, compliance and database function. Organize, maintain and track all contracts and related documents

-Maintains comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including but not limited to, Word, Excel, Access

-Using excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees as well as clients and corporate management

Requirements:

-Paralegal background or JD preferred

-Graduation from an accredited four year college or university preferred

-Experience with contract/drafting of insurance related contracts is a plus

-Ability to meet critical deadlines

-Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, corporate managers, clients and the public
