Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate general contract-related matters across NBC Sports Group’s various networks and platforms. This position will also support attorneys and non-attorneys in the preparation, drafting and review of such contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Draft time buy, barter and similar standard programming agreements for Sports Group properties and overflow talent agreements
  • Obtain approvals and signatures for contracts per applicable Sports Group contract approval processes, and with supervision as/when appropriate, distribute, file and log/abstract such agreements within contract management database
  • Communicate deal terms of time buy and other programming agreements with relevant parties (i.e., programming, finance, etc.)
  • Support intellectual property attorney(s) in clearing and obtaining backup documentation for trademarks, IP submissions, and domain registrations and submit to appropriate parties as required
  • Support Sports Group’s designated Compliance attorney with compilation of quarterly FCC original programming reports as submitted by Sports Group’s various cable networks and NBC Sports with respect to the broadcast network
  • Assist with third party footage requests by gathering footage, drafting agreements and invoices, and keeping payment records
  • Secure clip clearances for NBC Sports Group entities by fielding requests from production and reaching out to third parties to secure footage, pricing, and agreement terms
  • Additional projects as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extremely detail-oriented, accurate and organized
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task successfully and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter, assertive, enthusiastic and highly motivated
  • Must be detail-oriented, focused and organized
  • Must be resourceful and be able to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Must be a team player
