Job Summary
Experienced specialist able to write software and implement Process Control using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and Human Machine interfaces (HMI’s). This function is critical in order for engineering drawings, process equipment and process descriptions to actually be implemented and made to function as a system in a manufacturing environment. Develop or oversee the development of programs to control a wide variety of chemical, mechanical and electrical processes.

Job Responsibilities
•Provide process control systems and software development expertise to production department
•Troubleshoot and maintain control systems (hardware and software) in all production buildings including assisting production in troubleshooting problems with production processes
•Provide software development and control system expertise to all projects including estimates, design support, checkout, safety interlocking, and ongoing support.
•Maintain software licenses and system information for all control systems and computers used.
•Evaluate control system’s technical documents for accuracy and veracity
•Participate in Hazard Analyses of both new and existing processes
•Assist in the development of operational control documents (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures) and training plans for operations personnel
•Provide “on-call” support for production control systems
•Work with process engineers, instrument technicians, and electricians to implement and checkout control systems

Job Requirements

•Minimum - B.S. Electrical Engineering Required Skills:
Experience •B.S. in Electricial Engineering •Experience with PLC's •Experience with computer programming Preferred Skills:
