The Empyrean Group is seeking a Projects Engineer for our client, a large electronics manufacturer, located in Warrendale, PA. Duties: Provide proposals, technical information and submittals to internal/external customers, channel partners and regional managers. Support sales channels and end customers by applying detailed understanding of UPS and peripheral products for SMS and MMS. Review specifications; provide proposals and submittals for Mitsubishi UPS and peripheral products. Provide technical support for internal and external customers. Participate in technical meetings, seminars and presentations with customers, sales staff and channel partners. Produce memos, letters, technical bulletins and other communication for internal and external distribution. Produce, review and supply system electrical and mounting/outline drawings to internal and external customers. Produce and/or assist in the production of customer proposals for projects in response to customer RFP and RFQ. Assist and interface with peripherals vendors to obtain costs and ensure compliance to Mitsubishi specifications and design. Create and maintain all necessary BOMs, procedures, and drawings for shop created items and equipment modifications. Travel to customer site as necessary. Effectively communicate project information for internal and external customers. Ability to offer different UPS System solutions and configurations in accordance with Mitsubishi specification. Participate in On-site Mechanical and Electrical Planning and Commissioning meetings. Coordinate with other UPSD Departments to satisfy project scope requirements.Pay rate: Between $28 - $30/hour (based on experience)Start Date: ASAPDuration: minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of an extention
Electrical Engineer with 3-phase power experience/understanding Bachelors degree in electrical engineering and minimum 3 years experience in engineering, system integration and/or applications of electrical or power quality related products or equivalent education and experience. Knowledge of UPS (uninterruptible power supply) or other power quality equipment, batteries and/or UPS and distribution switchgear. Developed analytical and problem solving skills. Developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to maintain effective relationships. Working knowledge of MS Office products, Visio and CAD. Ability to use office equipment such as a personal computer, photocopier, fax machine, etc. Ability to work in high pressure environment, meet deadlines and complete projects. Ability to multi-task in organized manner. Ability to work in a team environment Ability to travel domestically 15-20%
