We’re currently seeking a Controller for our Corporate Finance team based in Seattle, WA. As the Controller, you will direct the Company’s general ledger and accounting functions including cash reconciliations, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, royalties, payroll and equity. You will play a key role in maintaining a system of controls over accounting transactions including appropriate documentation of transactions. This position will report directly to our VP of Finance and manage a dynamic team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain a documented system of accounting controls, policies and procedures

Drives the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives

Leads accounting staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and appraising employees

Drives the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, including their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures

Issue timely and complete annual financial statements

Serve as the key liaison with external auditors for the annual audit

Assist in complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Skills, experience and educational requirements:
Deep understanding of GAAP, preference to those with an understanding of software revenue recognition and online games

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, Master's a plus!

10+ years of progressively experience that includes a major company or division of a large corporation

Proven ability to lead and manage teams in an ever-changing environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
