Our products are available throughout North America and in the nation’s major Home Improvement stores such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Menard’s. Finance & Accounting Goal

Make it easy for our customers to work with us by being financial partners. Deliver a consistent Kreg experience by treating all customers, internal and external, as an extension of the Kreg Tool brand. Ensure Kreg Tool has a strong, enduring financial health to evolve throughout its customers’ journey. Improve organization’s ability to efficiently implement new ideas & opportunities outside of original fiscal plan as they adjust to customers’ changing needs.

Job Profile:

o Leads, directs and assists with day to day activities of accounting department.

o Lead and inspire staff performing general accounting, A/P and A/R.

o Ensures effective treasury functions to optimize cash flow in the business.

o Ensures compliance with company accounting practices and approval procedures.

o Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.

o Provides financial partnership to peers and all other departments.

o Ensures accuracy of general ledger and all financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.

o Develop and maintain timely and accurate accounting close.

o Develop and maintain company internal controls and accounting practices.

o Effectively develop and control adequate banking procedures and relationships.

o Responsible for outside compliance including tax, audit and other regulatory.

Education and/or Experience:

o Five years minimum of accounting related experience, including financial reporting, compliance, audit, tax and treasury.

o Two plus years of experience in leadership of staff are required.

o Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.

o CPA and/or MBA preferred.

o Proven leadership and management skills.

o A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

o Proficiency with accounting software, ERP and other technology including Microsoft Office & Outlook.

o Familiar with a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures a plus.
