Controller Hauppauge, NY
The Controller directs the financial affairs of the company, prepares monthly, quarterly and yearly final statements with supporting schedules for Corporate Finance and LS Management. Assures company compliance with internal and external financial policies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares interim, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting analytical review to Management and Corporate Reporting.
Responsible for the company’s adherence to Pall policies, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Directs the Accounting Staff
Analysis of statistical and accounting information, maintains the company’s system of accounts and assets in the general ledger.
Responsible for providing Internal Controls for the company.
Coordinates and directs the preparation of the annual budget as well as analysis of the variances.
Provide additional financial reporting and analysis as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
8-10 years experience
Computer Literate; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IFM and FRx report writing system, SAP knowledge
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
Communication of financial results to management.
