The Controller provides leadership for financial operations, reporting and planning. You will coordinate with department managers on the development of processes to gain efficiencies and cost reductions in the areas of manufacturing, shipping and product development. This position also provides financial expertise to maintain the organizations IRS 501(c)(3) status. Human Resource is a function of the Controller.

Management - Financial statements, fiscal policies.
Accounting – Accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, cash flow, annual fiscal audit, cost accounting.
Budget – Develop and manage annual operating and capital budget, analyze budget variances.
Operations – Procurement policies, negotiate property/equipment leases, maintenance agreements, business licenses, banking relationships.
Non-Profit – Maintain our tax-exempt status with the IRS.
Risk – Internal controls, property/product/liability insurance coverage.
Compliance – Ensure local, state and federal government reporting requirements.
Human Resources – All aspects of HR management.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration; CPA preferred.
8+ years experience in accounting management.
Emphasis in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing environment.
Experience with MRP system, such as Epicor (Vista).
Proven experience in driving process improvement.
Software needs assessment and conversion experience for product inventory and finance systems.
Experience with procurement systems.
Knowledge of non-profit accounting and 501(c)(3) reporting.
Human Resources knowledge a plus.
