Primary responsibilities: Develop and upgrade electrical controls for manufacturing equipment. Design, troubleshoot, and assist in repairing of electrical controls. Develop and debug PLC/PC programs for new equipment and upgrades. Manage projects including cost estimation, timing, and scheduling to improve equipment productivity and capability. Train maintenance on the operation and maintenance of control systems. Trouble shoot communication issues between plant floor and IT error proofing systems
Experience in working in a high volume manufacturing facility with error proofing software systems, preferably automotive.
Experience in a broadcast delivery environment.
Writing, modifying, and debugging programs for PLC’s.
Knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley (RS Logix, Devicenet, ControlLogix), Siemens 7, Mitsubishi FX, Panel view, Factory talk studio.
Knowledge and experience in programming Fanuc, ABB, and Kuka robotic systems.
Knowledge of VFD’s including AB and SEW drives. Good AutoCad and Microsoft Office skills.
Working knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards. Experience with SQL data base,
Ability to work overtime scheduled and unscheduled as needed
Years Experience: 5 Years
Degree Strongly preferred: BSEE or BSME
