How you will contribute: As a Controls Specialist you will troubleshoot and repair complex control system malfunctions which will require knowledge of HVAC equipment and control systems. In addition you will perform programming and commissioning of field controllers from project drawings and specifications, assist in the total system commissioning and validation with other trades, provide site specific owner training, assists project managers and sales by providing recommendations for system enhancements, and may respond to warranty and service calls. Experience Required:

What you need to qualify: Ahern will help make the most of your Associates degree in an Electrical or Mechanical type program. Preferred candidates will have 3-5 years of experience installing/commissioning of control systems. Candidates must be knowledgeable of programming, and servicing at least one manufacturer specific control system. Candidates should be proficient in using MS Word, Excel, Visio and AutoCAD. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.
