DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation is seeking a Controls Validation (CVT) Technician to support our customer in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The goal of this position is to aid in the accomplishment of the CIO’s vision to improve day-to-day stability of our customer's business, mission and test networks by securely standardize policies, processes, and procedures. The organizational relationships between Information Assurance and its peer functions are based on the CIO’s requirement to monitor, address, and report security violations throughout the systems’ lifecycle, and at all levels.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist in Conduct Compliance Testing.

Support Case Management activities including, risk assessments, and decision support activities.

Coordinate Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) reporting (including reporting philosophy/framework) within the CIO organization.

Coordinate with Test Mangers and Control Validation Test teams to incorporate IA testing into mission test events.

Collaborate with BMDS IA Manager and Program Managers to insert IA testing requirements within BMDS Master Fielding Plan.

Support IAM Annual IA Reporting Requirements for Compliance Tracking, Validation and Reporting

Assist in performing IA Compliance Validation Tests – compile CVT reports, recommend fixes, and track CVT events.

Provide IA-centric R&D and Test Network Support.

Assist in producing reports on FISMA and 8570 compliance.

Capable of participating in a team executing specialized Information Management (IM), Information Technology (IT), and Information Assurance (IA) tasks.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities to participate in a team executing major efforts in the analysis, design, development, integration, training, testing, documentation, implementation, and operation of complex IT systems.

Knowledgeable in the area of Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense (IA/CND) to design, test, implement, and integrate IA/CND programs.

Capable of working independently to solve problems.

Required Qualifications:
Information Technology (IT) experience required

Must have a DoD secret clearance

IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification such as Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or SCNP

Must have an Associates degree or higher

Strong communication skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced people-oriented environment

Understanding of the general makeup of CIO IT/IA products and services preferred

Some experience in IA Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and Validation testing preferred
