Qualified candidates for the Cook's Helper positon will preferably possess at least one year of experience in the type, style & cuisine of the restaurant for which they are applying. Must be able to read recipes and follow verbal directions. Will be required to possess basic knife skills in compliance with OSHA safety regulations and operate kitchen equipment. Responsible for assisting the Chefs, Cooks & Pantry in the preparation of all food and menu items in accordance with the designated standards established by the Room Chef, which may require limited cooking assignments. Also responsible for putting away groceries in accordance with Health Department and Silverton regulations. Must follow all Health Department and Silverton standards for basic food service.
