Duncaster, a premier retirement facility in Bloomfield, has an immediate opening for a full-time Cook to assist in meal preparation in our formal dining room assuring that all Dining Services protocols and procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Under the supervision of the Executive Chef, the incumbent will be responsible for quality, consistency, and presentation of all food produced, assist in preparing all food order and non-food supplies and adherence to all safety policies & procedures and regulatory authorities.
The successful candidate will have at least two years related experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare environment and/or fine dining establishment. Must be reliable, conscientious, committed to quality and strict sanitation procedures. Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends.
