Summary: This position is primarily responsible for preparing and cooking meals for the Red Stag Grill Restaurant in the lovely Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville. This includes grill work, saute, the line, and pastry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cooks foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.
Bakes breads and pastry.
Plans menu taking advantage of foods in season and local availability.
Orders supplies and keeps records and accounts.
Preps food as necessary for meals and/or the line.
Cleans floors and work areas.
Cooks and prepares menu items on the line.
Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
