Position Summary:
The successful candidate manages the assignment, accountability, transfer, and disposal of state-owned property for which the University has custodial responsibility under Florida State Statutes. Job duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Oversees the overall and managerial functions of the Property Department and ensures that Property Department personnel perform their work duties in compliance with State laws. Supervises the University-wide property inventory required annually to comply with State rules and regulations. Develops and institutes policies and procedures pertaining to more effective property control practices. Reconciles fixed assets to the general ledger and coordinates all processes within the fixed assets module. Complies with State mandates and performs other duties as required or as directed by the University Controller.

Minimum Qualification:
A Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of property management experience is required. Knowledge of Accounting, BANNER and Microsoft Office is also required.
