General Summary

The Coordinator, Business Affairs
is responsible for the global home entertainment digital and physical contract

administration as follows:
(1) enter and
maintain accurate data in company database for worldwide physical and digital
contract terms and distribution of products, (2) review home entertainment
physical and digital product orders for product availability, legal rights
clearance and contract compliance, (3) verify legal clearance for international
title registration, prepare corresponding documentation and coordinate document
legalization, and (4) provide general office administrative support, including contract
distribution, filing, phone coverage and ad hoc report preparation and special
project research.

Core Responsibilities



Contract Administration.

(including, but not limited to, agreements, amendments, term sheets, campaigns
and physical disc and digital media promotion bundles) and various other

Maintain list of legal
requirements required for document execution in each international territory
with respect to notarization and consularization, title registration and tax

Coordinate international and
domestic document execution and distribution.



Product Delivery Authorization.

Authorize delivery of masters and other
physical materials to worldwide customers.

Prior to authorization ensure contract compliance (including payment of
all amounts due), applicable legal rights are in place for title, product
release date approval, and availability of required physical element.

Oversee the return/transfer/destruction of
materials and inventory upon title or contract expiration.



Database/System Maintaince.

Enter and maintain accurate data records in
various contract tracking systems related to contract terms.

Upload fully executed documents into contract
tracking system and set up system generated alert for all contract event
deadlines and expirations.

Coordinate the set up and termination of all
client system accounts.



Rights Clearance, Research and

Research title availability rights and legal
clearance (including music licenses and programming clearance).

Track product release dates for
subdistribution agreements and provide this information to Sony Rights

Respond to SPE Legal, MPA
and territory requests regarding confirmation of rights.

Provide periodic title expiration reports to
worldwide customers.

Determine physical asset
availability and legal clearance.



Office Support


Maintain international licensing physical
disc legal files, assist with filing of worldwide physical disc and digital

Provide miscellaneous office
administrative support such as managing phones, scheduling meetings, and
general office correspondence. Design and run standard and ad hoc reports.


Job Requirements

This position normally requires a BA

Knowledge & Abilities:
Knowledge of


home entertainment business across physical and digital media platforms. Licensing
and/or distribution business and contract.

Skill In:
Requires (I) strong written
and verbal communication skills, (ii) ability to read, interpret and comprehend
contracts, (iii) accurate attention to detail; (iv) outstanding interpersonal
skills, (iv) office management experience.

Ability To

report creation.

Review documents for accuracy and
implement necessary changes
