Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
Manage Environmental Scorecard - Cement Operations and Logistics
Analyze environmental monthly reports for cement operations; assign scores, explain significant issues, resolve discrepancies.
Populate BSC database (MS Excel based application)
Prepare BSC presentation (MS Powerpoint application)
Support the VP, Directors, and Managers with preparation of permit applications and progress reports, preparation of regulatory agency reports and responses to agency inquiries, research, etc.
Maintain the Environmental Affairs Dept. file system and file room and library.
Coordinate and manage environmental reporting programs for all U.S. operations, including coordination with field operations to obtain appropriate information to develop and prepare summaries and maintain current status for: Notices of Violations Database, CX Awards Database, Emission Inventories
Maintain the department's records including the department file server and the department file room in accordance with the Company's documents retention policies.
Coordinate Environmental Regulatory Training programs for the department
Development and preparation of presentations and training materials
Coordinate travel hotel meeting rooms, etc. for meetings
Coordinate training materials for all U.S. Operations, including acquisition and maintenance of training videos and distribution to field operations
Assist in Training Sessions
Coordinate and manage proposals and invoices for environmental department.
Coordinate the development and management of the department and specific project budgets - track spending, explain variances, etc.
Facilitate departmental functions as necessary, including development and preparation of regulatory correspondence, reports, and presentations, etc.
Coordinate travel and logistics for VP and Directors when requested.
Two to four years related experience.
