The Department of Experiential Education at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Vermont satellite campus located at 261 Mountain View Drive, Colchester, is searching for qualified candidates for the administrative position of Coordinator. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Pharmacy Admissions and Experiential Education, the Coordinator will serve as the primary contact regarding experiential education for students at the Vermont campus; develop new and maintain existing Introductory (IPPE) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE); serve as Experiential Education Preceptor Training Coordinator for all IPPE and APPE rotations. The Coordinator will also be required to attend and participate in meetings for the Pharmacy Experiential Education Committee, Experiential Education Advisory Panel, Experiential Division and ad hoc committees as requested.

B.S. in Pharmacy required; Pharm.D. preferred. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years experience in pharmacy practice; two years experience as a preceptor for pharmacy students. The position requires travel to practice sites to conduct site visits; valid driver’s license is required. Candidates must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, a clear understanding of experiential learning, and a desire to work with students. Additionally, candidates must display strong interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently yet contribute to a team, and excellent organizational skills.
