The Marketing Coordinator works to support the Marketing Department (Consumer, Affiliate and Ad Sales) in the execution of marketing initiatives for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. Initiatives include media campaigns, consumer promotions, BtoB campaigns and promotions, integrated marketing programs, trade campaigns, creative, events and more.


Ad Sales Marketing:
-Submits job requests to Print and On-Air teams and updates weekly creative delivery calendar
-Pulls and tracks competitive advertising
-Works with premium vendors to create unique mailers that pique interest among agencies and clients for upcoming programming and corporate initiatives and places recommendations in Powerpoint presentations
-Oversees premium closet and keeps team abreast of inventory
-Coordinates Account Executive external client events and company tent pole events by creating event materials, such as posters, banners, invitations, premiums and provides on-site event management
-Creates PowerPoint recap decks for cross platform sweepstakes and client sponsorship integrations
-Devises programming grids for Daytime and Prime Time Series

Affiliate Marketing:
-Assists in the development of marketing materials including posters, banners, invitations and premiums
-Helps maintain the affiliate website and FTP sites
-Organizes the premium/affiliate closets and manages overall inventory
-Assists in the timely submission of invoices
-Monitors MVPD partnerships with other programmers
-Manages channel image and MVPD logo databases for the team

Consumer Marketing:
-Point person for all Hallmark Cards purchases
-Submits recommendations and requests for the weekly Hallmark Channel Newsletter
-Assists Sr. Coordinator in reading scripts and completing synopsis for creative directions
-Attends Programming/Marketing/PR meeting and takes notes to circulate to participants
-Submits job requests
-Assists in scheduling team meetings for partner presentations
-Researches marketing trends and assists on projects as needed

-Minimum 2 years of experience at an entertainment company
-Undergraduate degree from a four-year college or university; preferably in Communication, Business -Administration, Advertising or Marketing
-Experience using PCs and Microsoft Office software; Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

-Marketing experience preferred; prior cable experience preferred
-Must be team-oriented and have a collaborative work style with ability to build strong working relationships
-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
-Excellent interpersonal skills; positive can-do attitude
-Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
