The Coordinator, Strategic Innovation works as a member of a team that supports strategic innovation with a specific role to support activities related to the organization's Extranet (Exchange), and our evaluation and research activities. This position will provide support to the Knowledge Publishing & Products and Resource and Evaluation departments which are under Strategic Innovation.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a research-related setting focused on user services, or equivalent customer-service experience
Intermediate to advanced skills with the Microsoft Office programs, including: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher and Outlook and computer skills
Intermediate knowledge of web technology; HTML required, SharePoint a plus
Ability to learn software quickly and train others
Knowledge of basic statistical concepts and statistical packages (such as SPSS)
Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to acquire and interpret research and information from a variety of sources
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule as determined by priorities of the team
Must possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and take action proactively
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-paced working environment
Ability to interact with diverse persons at all levels of an organization, both inside and outside the YMCA
Requires a commitment to the YMCA character development values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility
Monitor and respond to all Exchange feedback received via e-mail, Internet, and Contact Center
Act as an Exchange expert publisher and be the go-to person at Y-USA for Exchange questions, particularly in regards to publishing
Deliver Exchange training for new hires and hold refresher sessions as needed. Maintain training documentation and the Exchange Help site as the system changes
Participate in testing changes to Exchange including new and improved functionality, and potentially write test scripts
Manage posting, monitor content and usage on Exchange per subject matter experts in alignment with knowledge management governance policies with specific responsibilities for Research and Evaluation
Run queries on organizational data using Microsoft Access and create reports using Excel per requests
Update recurring data publications owned by the Research and Evaluation Department
Maintain and improve integrity of existing and new data sets in line with organizational data strategy efforts
Assist with questionnaire design, response rates, data editing, data analysis and report writing
Plan the administrative support required for department projects and implement with team members, this includes material support needed for department meetings and meetings hosted by department
Provide administrative support which includes but is not limited to: scheduling travel, meetings, and expense reimbursements for Directors
Coordinate efforts for special projects, correspondence, events and mailings, while adhering to deadlines
Perform other duties as assigned by Director, Online Knowledge Management
This position provides essential support to the Strategic Innovation department which includes the Research and Evaluation and Knowledge Publishing & Products departments that provide service to YMCAs which is of the utmost importance.

Salary: $52,500 - $53,500
