Support overall communications and publicity effort by addressing media inquiries and directing them appropriately; assisting in the coordination of various show related events and materials creations and production; developing and maintaining various media lists and calendars; assist in the monitoring of print and online media; provide administrative support for department lead and team. Administrative duties include: answer phones, maintain calendar, coordinate travel arrangements, prepare expense reports, schedule and arrange meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic administrative support including: Answer phones, process expense reports, maintain business calendars, field calls, respond to inquiries.
  • Send out press materials per individual show publicists.
  • Responsible for oversight of all network award submissions
  • Prepare weekly Creative report with network, program quotes.
  • Assist with coordinating network screening events
  • Maintaining press distribution lists and updating as needed.
  • Assist the publicists with show specific needs
  • Interact with Network and Studio Publicist and Broadcast Publicity
  • Interact with Programming Executives and their offices
  • Interact with Consumer Press, Trade Press
  • Interact with media outlets, talent and producers, production companies, viewers and corporate media team.
  • Assist department with document preparation, scanning, faxing, ordering office supplies, brainstorming and researching.
  • Compile and distribute daily press clippings.
  • May assist with pitching series and talent to external print, online and broadcast press.
  • Provide support to west coast team as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Work Experience
Required
  • 1 - 3 years administrative support experience
Skills & Abilities
Required
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
Required Education
  • High School Diploma
Preferred Education
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in the field of study Communications, PR or Journalism
