Coordinator of Arena Operations, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, an NCAA Division I member of the Missouri Valley Conference.

Responsibilities: Assist in the direction and supervision of all departments of the facility in providing support to the academic and athletic programs of the University. These departments will provide event services including set-up, clean-up, ticket takers, facility security and general event management. This position will also be charged with identifying potential clients and tenets, developing marketing and promotion plans to increase building utilization, developing events that support the educational, cultural and athletic missions of the facility and assisting in the overall management of the day-to-day operations of the Arena.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of experience in an athletic environment is required or Master's Degree may be substituted for 2 years of required experience.

Appointment: 12-month term, full-time, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
