The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is searching for a Coordinator of Legacy Gifts and Donor Relations. This position is responsible for supporting the Edwin Carter Legacy Society (ECLS) giving club members and the growth of the club and will support the Director of Major Gifts and Donor Relations in achieving fundraising goals for the Museum.

The successful candidate will independently coordinate administrative, organizational, and monitoring aspects of life income gifts and bequests for the development department which includes the tracking of planned giving (PG) budgets and providing regular reports supporting the DMNS foundation. This heavily administrative role also entails coordination with the volunteer services department and cultivation of donors who are DMNS volunteers. The Coordinator of Legacy Gifts and Donor Relations will recruit new members and ensure the retention of existing members of the Legacy Society giving club.

Successful candidates will have at minimum a High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years in support or entry-level management position in a development office, OR equal experience in an office that supports private banking or financial services for high net worth individuals is required.

Preferred candidates will also have excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to cultivate and steward donors, and the ability to multi-task in a busy and highly productive environment, maintaining quality of detailed work under deadlines. Candidates with experience in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge preferred.
