Are you an excellent writer and communicator, with a passion for learning? Do you have a knack for persuasive writing and the ability to spin a great story?
Come hone your skills as part of OmniVista Health’s copywriting team. OmniVista Health is one of the newest affiliate companies of Agora, Inc.—one of the largest and most successful consumer newsletter publishers in the world. OmniVista Health is based in historic Mount Vernon, Baltimore, MD along with Agora’s headquarters.
We’re growing quickly and need a smart, talented, and driven writer to help propel us to the next level of success. You don’t need to know everything about copywriting or direct-to-consumer marketing—however you MUST be willing to do whatever it takes to learn the ropes quickly.
Our style of copywriting is quite unique. On the surface, we sell subscriptions and products…but at the heart of it all, we are building relationships with our customers through written conversations. This requires uniquely talented writers who can take complex subjects and ideas and spin them into fascinating benefits for our readers—and do so in an engaging way.
We have an abundance of copy needs—from basic website content and product descriptions to full-length product promotions…even assisting with editorial content. You must be willing to do it all…including help with customer correspondence.
This is a perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door of a growing company and to feel the unique satisfaction that comes with helping to shape its future—and to build yours along with it.
Your requirement: Submit two writing samples—something persuasive and creative. College and graduate school projects are welcome. Your samples should highlight your ability to write in an engaging and compelling way, to sell an idea or product in a new way, or simply a great story.
Please submit your cover letter, resume, and writing samples to Karen Reddel by applying, below.
