AgReliant Genetics is looking for a Corn Specialist for our AgriGold division.
This position is responsible for representing AgriGold Hybrids in the sale and distribution of its seed products to customers in an assigned territory. Responsible for achieving maximum sales and increased market penetration of brand within the overall strategy of the brand.
Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Responsible for projecting a positive image of AgriGold Hybrids and AgReliant Genetics.
Develop and implement territory sales plan to achieve or surpass sales goals.
Responsible for the short and long term strategy and coordination & implementation of the AgriGold Marketing Plan.
Assists and actively implements an annual budget for the assigned district.
Develops and implements a Business Plan for the district within the goals of the overall brand strategy for the year.
Develops and actively implements a brand research plan for the district within the goals and strategy of the agronomy department.
Assists in the supervision, training and development of interns on a day to day basis to maximize the program’s return on investment.
Advise the Regional Sales Manager of all major market developments in the district that affect sales and/or personnel.
Submit all reports required by the Regional Sales Manager and/or AgriGold Division Office in a timely manner.
Report product problems in the territory using a service call report and handle routine problems.
Attend and participate in Regional Sales Meetings and other Company functions.
Maintain appearance of Company vehicle and equipment.
Other duties as needed.
Duties and responsibilities may be revised as needed by the Regional Sales Manager and/or the Brand Manager either verbally and/or in writing.
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or related field desired; excellent written and verbal communication skills, team player; detail orientated; good computer skills – Excel and Word; demonstrated time management skills and strong work ethic; knowledge of seed industry preferred.
Ability to work required hours and travel as necessary; ability to lift 50 lbs.; must have valid driver’s license and meet AgReliant MVR Requirements; some overnight travel required.
