The position is primarily responsible for developing, designing, collaborating and presenting sales training rollout strategies, materials and training sessions for company wholesalers, field managers and sales force for all life product offerings and sales practices.
Individual will work closely with all Life Product Managers with the design and implementation core teams to ensure timely creation of sales material to drive sales.
Will play key role in projects that will involve training and instructional design. Will be involved in processes with notable complexities; develop strategy for execution
Solves unique and complex problems; requires conceptual and innovative thinking and education and/or equivalent experience to develop solutions
Required to make decisions guided by function/business plans and policies that impacts the operations of a sub function or work area within a sub function
Able to communicate complex topics with simplicity; able to influence, persuade and negotiate with others, often at senior levels to a adopt a different point of view
Expected to be involved in all aspects of training development, including creation, design, compliance review and on going training administration; responsible for the delivery of end results focused on operational excellence
Will provide tactical and strategic support to the Life Product Team in special projects
Willing to grow in a versatile environment and interested in professional growth
Develop training rollout strategies, supporting material and sessions for Variable Universal Life Products, which will be a primary focus.
Training will include computer based training (CBT's) Powerpoint Presentations, Webinars, focus groups, strategic and specific training for internal and external teams.
Work closely with important business partners such as Agency, NYLIC U, SMRU, OGC, field wholesalers to ensure that we deliver a consistent VUL message throughout our training program
Be able to deliver training to the field through Agency meeting, field meeting, conference, workshops.

Required Qualifications
3-5 years related experience
Training background and public speaking experience necessary
Experience working with sales training
Strong writing, creative, instructional design skills
Specific experience with insurance company products
Proven track record in project management
Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
Strong stand up presentation skills and the ability to design effective marketing/sales campaigns
Series 7 and 63 required
Powerpoint, excel, word, skills required
Graphic design experience is a plus
Bachelor degree required
Advanced Degree (MBA, MS, MA, etc.) and/or Industry Designation (CLU, CFP, ChFC, etc.) Preferred
