Job Summary:
Provides accounting and reporting support for CSX.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
Prepare and upload monthly journal entries. Load, consolidate, and review financial data.

Complete assigned balance sheet account reconciliation.

Create weekly and quarterly reports for management review.

Participate in special projects and cross-functional activities as assigned.

Pursue opportunities for process improvement.

Provide information to internal and external auditors as required.

Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related major field of study

1 or more years of experience required in Accounting

Certifications/Licenses: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) eligible or actively working to become CPA eligible

Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to meeting the above qualifications, the following are preferred:

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Accounting

1 or more years of Public Accounting experience

Certifications/Licenses: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Knowledge and Skills:
Microsoft Office skills

Knowledge of accounting concepts and principles

Knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act regulatory standards

Knowledge of Oracle General Ledger

Knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise
