We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager who will be responsible for the development of the combined financial statement and associated comprehensive financial reporting including systems automation reporting. The Manager will research and analyze financial reporting standards and trends and work closely with Corporate Accounting Leadership in providing overall functional support including internal reporting, annual audit process review and training, annual budget process, and internal control management. Includes:
  • Supervise company monthly financial closing and present results to accounting leadership
  • Work with accounting leadership on internal and external financial audits and examination processes
  • Main contributor for the Annual Budget Process including review and supervision of Installation Budgets, budget file management including changes and updates, compilation of budget summaries, and consolidation of Installation Budget Results
  • Prepare financial report summaries and financial modeling to support financial reporting, cashflows, and forecasts
  • Supervise Monthly Reserve Accounts and Investment Account Activity
  • Review monthly financial waterfalls and global lockbox compliance
  • Prepare quarterly third party financial statements and covenant calculations
  • Manage Fixed Assets, policies, compliance and reporting
  • Manage accounting internal controls and communications
  • Support software conversion and implementation project
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing and providing and communication of financial results
  • Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting
  • CPA a plus
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and advanced spreadsheet and financial data presentation skills
  • Highly organized with strong planning skills
  • Stress tolerance and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management and staff
  • Strong judgment and problem solving ability
