The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development in the preparation of financial models and the analysis of merger and acquisition targets, assisting in the identification of targets, and the performance and documentation of the due diligence process. This role will work closely with the senior leadership team, including our SMD’s and CEO.


Analyze acquisition and investment opportunities consistent with Invesco’s M&A strategy

Perform industry and financial analysis leading to specific recommendations

This includes general industry analysis on an on-going basis, as well as specific analysis of a potential target/seller

Develop operating financial models to evaluate a target’s financial projections and perform comprehensive financial valuations involving discounted cash flow, accretion dilution and comparable company/transaction analyses

Performance and documentation of due diligence (or coordination and review of due diligence performed by functional or outside representatives) for potential acquisition targets

Develop relationships with business and functional leaders as well as investment bankers



Bachelor’s degree required/MBA preferred

Minimum 3-5 years related work experience

Prior investment banking and/or top-tier consulting firm background strongly preferred

Strong analytical, research and financial modeling skills

Demonstrated advanced excel skills

Technical ability to develop electronic data rooms (internal and external sharepoint sites)

Strong project management skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience working closely with C-Level and senior executives (CEO, CFO, global business leaders, etc.)

Discretion is paramount in this role as well as good business judgment

Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills

Ability to build a story with compelling supporting material through Powerpoint presentations and verbally articulated in management meetings
