Job Title: Corporate Events Assistant TEMPORARY – 6 weeks

Reports To: Marketing Manager
Location: Corporate Headquarters, SF
This temporary position is to provide support to the Marketing Team on a large-scale Benefit Cosmetics corporate event. This position will assist the Marketing Event Coordinator on all tasks and day-to-day assignments to ensure the corporate event runs smoothly.
This position requires a collaborative work style, excellent organizational and follow-up skills with focused attention to detail. The Corporate Events Assistant must be a responsible multi-tasker with a positive “get it done” attitude. Additionally, the position requires a strong work ethic and ability to stay cool under pressure. This is an opportunity to work within a leading global beauty brand and build experience in corporate event coordination.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must be available to start April 15 and work full-time Monday thru Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, for 6 weeks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Assisting with day-to-day event planning activities & event execution
o Timeline & budget tracking
o Building spreadsheets
o Liaising & negotiating with vendors
o Logistics coordination
o Delivery of event support materials
o Organizing agendas & presentations
o On site support for 3 day conference in San Francisco (May 14-16)
o Detail oriented
o Excellent organizational skills
o Clear oral & written communication
o Can handle various jobs at once and work under tight deadlines
o Experience planning & executing events
o College degree preferred
o Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook
o Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
